Well, MAC has done it again. This latest collection tips it’s hat to the 80′s. The long ago land of neon colors and electric blue mascara (hey…I did it and I am proud). I know what you are thinking, I can’t wear these colors…but yes you can. Maybe not all of them and definitely not all at once. But it can be done!
Right of the top my favorites are the Lip Gelees, the colors are so sheer, you can layer them over lipstick or wear them with liner or all by themselves. Today I am wearing Sugar Shock (yummy…) The shadows look scary but they are surprisingly sheer. Don’t get me wrong, they definitely pack a pigment punch, but they aren’t as bright as I thought they would be. Favorites here are Fab & Flashy, Romping and Going Banannas. Last but not least, the lipsticks, now don’t freak out…but there is a blue lipstick in here, I haven’t exactly figured out how to wear this one yet (I will let you know when I do…LOL) but my favorites here are Overrich, Out To Shock and Pomposity.
This entire collection was used my Eve’s makeup artist JJ in her new video Tambourine and might I add, she looks AMAZING in the video.. I am participating in a special chat on Wednesday with Eve and JJ to discuss the line and how to get the looks he created. I will be back with all the info on Thursday or Friday.
The limited C-Shock collection is available at MAC stores and counters from June 18th-July 14th or you can check it out on the website here.
