Okay…this worked MUCH better. I actually applied paint pot (which is like a creamy pigment) first, then Matte Squared and the color just grabbed on.
The trick with using any shadow for longevity purposes as well as getting the color to pop is to have a good base underneath. Sometimes concealer will work but more often than not, the consistency is too creamy to actually adhere to the delicate skin of the eyelid making for a bit of a mess as the day (or night) wears on. Paint pots are amazing, because they are creamy but not so creamy that they slide. I used these at a wedding and it worked wonders, everyone told me that their eyemakeup was good all night long. I am using a color combo that you don’t see too much on brunettes with dark eyes, green. It can be really pretty if you use the right color
combos.
The Rundown:
- Paint Pot in Moss Scape (on lashline up to the crease)
- Matte Squared in Flourishing (on lashline and in the crease)

- Kohl Power Liner in Orpheus
- Cover Girl Lash Exact in Very Black
- NARS Bronzer duo in Orgasm/Laguna
- Cargo Lip Liner in Coffee
- Tarte lipgloss Duo in Cliff & Claire (mixed together)
Stay Pretty…
