Hey all!!
Greetings from L.A.!! I am attending a Hollywood Premiere tonight for Glamour Reel Moments! Glamour has a contest where readers submit their stories and the winning three are developed and turned into short films directed by Hollywood A-List women and one newcomer. This year the directors are Demi Moore, Courteney Cox and Kirstin “Kiwi” Smith who is the screenplay writer behind hits like Legally Blonde and House Bunny.
The great thing about this initiative is that it empowers women to direct films (less than 6% of directors of the top 250 domestic grossing films released in 2007 were women) and for readers to write stories and inspire them to continue writing if that is their passion. The other cool thing is that everyone involved donates their time to make it all happen. That’s right nobody gets paid or anything and that is where Suave comes in. Suave bankrolls the whole kit and kaboodle…how cool is that??
Suave has been around for over 70 years and in this economy is a real option for getting the look you want for pennies. I had my hair styled using the products and I was supremely impressed (see video below). So I’m off to walk the red carpet tonight which will be so cool and then I’m back home tomorrow. Back to regular posting in the morning…I have to get ready for my close-up!!
