Origins is coming out with a unique initiative to “go green”. We pack amounts up to 1/3 of waste in landfills and as one of the most economically friendly cosmetics company, Origins is tackling this serious environmental issue with the launch of “Return to Origins.”
On April 2nd, Origins is launching a nationwide recycling initiative Return to Origins in New York City with New York City’s Mayor Bloomberg, Allure Editor & Chief Linda Wells, Origins President Jane Lauder, and varies celebrities. Come to the GM Plaza on 5th Avenue and The first 250 participants will receive a deluxe A Perfect World creme for dropping off their empty cosmetics – regardless of brand.
In addition, in honor of Earth Month anyone who brings their empties into any of Origins 450 locations nationwide throughout the month of April will receive a free sample of A Perfect World.

WHAT: Origins kicks-off the Return to Origins Recycling Program, a first-of-its-kind nationwide cosmetics recycling program. Consumers are invited to drop off their cosmetics empties – lipstick tubes, shampoo bottles, moisturizer jars, compacts, etc. – from any cosmetics line regardless of the manufacturer. The first participants to drop off their cosmetic empties at locations where Origins is hosting events will receive a FREE deluxe size A Perfect World™ Intensely hydrating body cream with White Tea (quantities are limited). Origins will also offer complimentary skincare consultations and mini-facials at participating stores in Austin, Boston, Cambridge, Denver and San Francisco.
