There aren’t too many things that I end up obsessed with, I may really love something but for me to become obsessed it has to be on a whole other level. Let me give you the background…yesterday I went back to the Ted Gibson Salon here in DC to get a haircut, (a new style that I LOVE by the way!!) and while I was there, I got this crazy steam treatment using Phytospecific’s Vital Force Cream Bath. I was really excited because I have heard so much about the line and I just had to see what all of the hype was about. At any rate, I stayed in this contraption that is a hybrid hooded hair dryer/steamer with the mask on my hair for 20 minutes. When I emerged, I could tell my hair was different. As soon as I felt it my jaw dropped, it was so soft. She blew me dry, flat ironed and then did the cut. Once all the damaged ends were gone I looked like I had new hair. Now granted, I only had about and inch or so of bad ends but I chose to go shorter.

My stylist, Tiffany proceeded to cut off 4 inches and gave me a great style that I love PLUS my hair feels SO HEALTHY and it shines like glass! Phytospecific is formulized specifically for curly and textured hair and it is WELL WORTH THE MONEY if you can find someplace where you can get the treatments OR buy the product yourself and as my stylist told me, “Douse your hair in product, put on a plain plastic showercap, put a wet towel in the microwave to heat it up and wrap it around your head.” You will get the same effect as my fancy hair dryer/steamer treatment. If you are in New York or DC Metro, check out the Ted Gibson Salon, you won’t be sorry
