82742048 Beauty News: Drink Yourself Pretty?? Teas and Elixirs for Healthy Skin Hair & Nails...If you have been paying attention lately, drinkable beauty products have been on the horizon for a while.  Some promote better overall skin health while others claim to help your hair and nails.  Whatever the potion, one thing is clear, what you put inside your body is just as important as what you put on the outside.  There are SO MANY products at all different price points I have a few that are my favoritesL

Glowelle Not all that bad tasting but I am not that picky about what things taste like that are supposed to “do something”.  I am notoriously bad at actually taking my vitamins so this is perfect for me.  I recommend using a 16oz bottle of water if you are funny about taste.  It combines vitamin A, C and E with goji berries, green and white tea extracts to nourish skin from within  Glowelle’s 7-Day Powder Stick Pack Kit is available for $40 at Glowelle.com — or you can get a sample in the latest edition of Beautyfix.

Borba Age Defying Aqua-less Crystalline I actually tried this last year and I LOVE it.  I keep extras in my carry-on when traveling.  The flavor is very faint BUT you can always add more water. This one contains Açaí Berry and is high in antioxidant Vitamins C & E. Contains essential nutrients intended to diminish aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles.  Available in 14 and 60 day packets.

Pur-lisse Organinc Blue Lotis White Tea Packed with good for your skin antioxidants like blueberries and pomegranate supsended in white tea which is by far the most antioxidant rich teas of them all.  This tastes good and is a nice way to end your day.

Republic of Tea “Be Well” Red Teas Red tea (or Rooibos) has a high level of antioxidant and has been known to assist with nervous tension, allergies and digestive problems.  These blends combine Red tea with funtional herbs to address all kinds of issues.  My faves are “Get Gorgeous” (for skin). “Get Growing” (for hair and nails) and “Get Charged” (for energy).  They even have a “Get Clean” to detox.

Thanks for the reviews! I might just have to try that Pur-lisse one, although I'd rather get my “good nutrients” the old-fashioned way via food.
