Drugstore Diva: New! Maybelline Define-a-Lash Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara…
I KNEW it would only be a matter of time before the vibrating mascara wand made it’s way down to the drugstore set. On the heels of L’Oreal, Lancome, Prescriptives and Estee Lauder comes Maybelline’s Define-a-Lash Pulse Perfection ($15).
The battery-powered mascara is the first of its kind in the drugstore category, and is WAY less expensive than it’s department store counterparts (about 50% less in some cases), the mascara will debut sometime in July. The vibrations of the mascara wand mimic the coveted zig-zag “wiggle” that makeup artists far and wide are blessed to have perfected. Define-a-Lash Pulse Perfection will be available in two washable shades, “Very Black” and “Blackest Black” and one waterproof shade “Very Black”. The battery life will last for a minimum of 130 applications, or over four months…which is perfect for me since I usually replace my mascara every 6-8 weeks.
