Smell This: Estee Lauder Pleasures Splashes…

This summer Estee Lauder introduces three splashes built around various fragrance notes of the iconic original. Baie Rose Peony, Sandalwood Amber and Jasmine Violet come in gigantic 8.1 oz splash/spray bottles and are the perfect light fresh scent for summer skin.

I am very impressed with the potency as most splashes have very little staying power, these scent are very decidely floral so if taht isn;t your thing then keep it moving.  But if you are a fan of the original EL Pleasures or florals in general then these are worth a look.

The Rundown:

Baie Rose Peony Splash:  Baie Rose Peony Splash is a Fresh Floral scent that brings together the exotic spiciness of Baie Rose and the delicate beauty of Peonies. Tender and luscious, this floral wonder is built
around the dewy Peony and subtle spice of Baie Rose. Delicate petals of Lily, Rose and Peony are gently wrapped with wet Green Leaves for a drenched-in-nature sensation, while Baie Rose and a Warm Skin Accord balance the feminine floralcy with soft sensuality and comfort.

Jasmine Violet Splash: Jasmine Violet Splash is a Green Floral scent that blends fresh Violet leaves with the rich floralcy of Jasmine. A composition of pure beauty, this Jasmine and Violet combination suggests sheer indulgence. Tuberose and Jasmine Petals are blended for an intensely exotic, yet weightless white floralcy, while wet, crisp Cucumber and velvety Violet Leaves offer their green freshness. Finishing it off is a touch of Carnation, which adds a cool spiciness and sense of mystery.

Sandalwood Amber Splash:  Sandalwood Amber Splash is a Woody Oriental scent that blends the smooth richness of golden Amber with the warm creaminess of prized Sandalwood. Sensual and warm, this deep blend of Sandalwood and Amber instantly seduces you with its magic. Hints of Orange and Lemon add a zesty freshness, while Karo Karounde offers its intoxicating richness. Spikes ofPepper add vitality to the warmth and creaminess of Amber, Sandalwood and the nuzzly smoothness of the Warm Skin Accord.

Pleasures Splashes retail for 52.00 and are available now at all Estée Lauder counters nationwide and esteelauder.com.

I love Estee Lauder Pleasure, and come back to it every now and then whenever I miss its soft floral notes. With the summer here, I'm excited that EL have created exotic versions of my beloved perfume. With the actual exotic notes I was afraid that Pleasure would come off too strong, but EL created the Splash version of it which is brilliant. I want to check out the Sandalwood version, a little bit of musk would be perfect with the floral notes! Thanks for this post.
