Summer 2009: Givenchy Le Makeup Collection…

This summer, Givenchy gives us a collection that is awash in warm caramel shades.  Le Makeup Summer 2009 Collection is warm and shimmery – perfect for summer.  The collection is out in stores now, with prices ranging from $24 (the Pop Gloss Crystal lipglosses) to $50 (Prisme Again Eyes quad) each.  It’s scented with a new Givenchy fragrance too (it’s called Radiant Blossom) and contains notes of orange, bergamot, peony, iris, jasmine, rose, vanilla and musk. The collection is Inspired by the body-sculpting effects of the sun, Givenchy enhances the face, eyes, lips and cheeks of summer with drops of copper and gold for a feminine, glamorous look.

The Rundown:

Glow to Wear (Body Enhancer) – A satiny body enhancer that delivers a warm tint to skin.

Prismissime Mat & Glow (Face Powder) in Sun Caramel - A compact featuring a mix of nine shimmering and matte shades.

Prisme Again! Visage in Sun Mango and Sun Cinnamon – This stunning quartet evens out the complexion with a light, transparent, matte surface and two luminous colors to create an irresistibly radiant and healthy looking complexion.

Mister Bright Sun in Sunlight – A highlighter pen that imparts a bronze glow.

Prisme Again! Eyes – This chic compact contains two different powder textures, both of them very fine, gentle and creamy, for a variety of effects: matte, semi-matte, satiny, iridescent, or pearly shine – choose your weapon!

The Sun Caramel Face Powder and Glow to Wear are stand outs to me, but you know how much I love bronzey shimmer on the face and body.
