Let’s face it people, this recession crap is no fun. I certainly do not enjoy cutting back, and I’m sure you don’t either. So here is my most FAVORITE recessionista trick…the at home spa pedicure. I’m horrible at painting my nails (it always looks like a 5 yr. old did it) so I usually skip the polish and leave that to the professionals. But every Sunday night as of late, I have been indulging in this ritual and my feet are so soft and smooth you would think I never walked anywhere!
The Rundown:
- Callex – This stuff has saved my feet! I don’t know exactly HOW it works I just know that it does. If your heels/feet are extra dry or cracked….this is for you. There are some kind of enzymes that just eat up dead skin, dissolve it somehow really. The first time I used this I saw results the next day. Slather it all over your feet, put some old socks on and go to bed. Important note: you MUST wash your hands after using it.
- Ms. Pedicure Pedicure 101, 9 Piece Set - Everything you need to puff, shape and if desired, polish your tootsies to perfecttion.
- Microplane XL Pro Foot File – This baby will keep your feet smooth inbetween your callex treatments. Perfect for callused heels.
Take time for yourself and do a spa ritual type event at home. You will be surprised at how great it makes you feel.
Stay Pretty!!
