A Look Inside The Inaugural NYFW Beauty Blogger Mixer…

This past Saturday night, Paul Baranda from Beyond beauty Basics and I hosted our first ever New York Fashion Week Beauty Blogger Event. We were posted up at Wet Bar at the W Court Hotel on 39th and Lexington which is a small/intimate lounge that was quickly overcome by our guests! We had such a great turnout that the bar ran out of the special flavored vodka for the Bubblegum Bloggatini!
There were many bloggers there that I knew, but just as many that i didn’t which was the whole point of the event. I wanted to shorten that distance between online editors and meet/network with some newer bloggers that were in town just for the weekend. We also had some very special guests: celebrity hair stylist and TLC’s What Not To Wear hair guru, Ted Gibson and master colorist and co-owner of Ted Gibson Salons, Jason Backe! I was beyond thrilled thatTed & Jason wanted to show up….and their appearance made the whole night for me (Ted even busted a move with me in the corner!)
Tony Davis and his staff were more than accommodating and we had some yummy snacks and delish drinks!
