Estee Lauder Sumptuous Color Bold Volume Lifting Mascara…
Wow….I remember colored mascara back in the 80’s! I used to wear this electric blue one that looked dark unless you were in the sun then they were so blue it was almost alien. Well colored mascara is back in a BIG way…but not like the electric blue I just mentioned….more subtle. More “grown up” if you will. Of course Estee Lauder is behind the new colored mascara push and the first to release shades that are compatible with the color of your eyes. So, you can wear any shade you want BUT it is suggested that you select a shade that is complimentary to your eye color so it will “pop”.
The Rundown:
- Green or Hazel eyes: Amethyst or Garnet
- Brown eyes: Amber
- Blue eyes: Emerald
- All eyes: Sapphire for a dramatic look
You can wear these alone or with your regular black or brown shade underneath….the colors are subtle enough to be worn alone and the mascara formula is lush and creamy. Love how it looks on my lashes….
