During New York Fashion Week, there were parties…parties and more parties. Not all were worth attending but some were can’t miss affairs. One such event was Ben Bennett’s party at the amazing Frank Gehry IAC building. If you are not familiar with Ben or his work take a peek at his new site….he has his hands in all the beauty cookie jars. We made these blusher/highlighters and chose our own colors, they pressed the powder…then we dripped this pretty shimmery “pigment slurry” on top. When it dried, the color was so beautiful and golden it was just crazy!
So we made some really cool powder compacts and lip glosses at a custom blending station where they pressed everything right in front of you. The space was amazing (next time you are in New York, it is a must see building right on the water on the West side). and Ben was of course the gracious host.
