Alicia Keys at the 2009 American Music Awards…

Makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff created a lovely yet slightly avant garde look for Alicia Keys at last night’s American Music Awards.  Her brows aren’t really filled in so it puts all the focus on her eyes and skin….and both were luminous.

“Alicia’s look was inspired by her hand beaded Armani Prive Gown in various shades of blue. I focused on golden glowing skin, beautiful blue and burgundy eyes, soft pink shimmery cheeks, full lashes and light pink lips. The look was pretty, regal and sexy. I also did a beautiful bronze body shimmer so Alicia’s skin glistened like she spent hours on a tropical beach.” ….says Ashunta:
