Must Have: NARS 15th Anniversary Palettes & Book…

Oh be still my heart…..one of my most favorite makeup lines turned 15.  I can honestly say that I wear something NARS every single day.  More often than not, it’s the multiple, lipgloss or lipstain…sometimes it’s creamy shadow.  The genius that is Francois Nars is partying hard for this auspicious event.  He has released two gawgus palettes and there is also a book! The book features portraits of 15 famous faces such as Marc Jacobs, Naomi Campbell, Daphne Guinness, and Amber Valleta with classic Nars products on their faces.  As of late, he has been dabbling in photography so it would make sense that Nars did both the makeup and the photography for the book himself.

“When you do something for 15 years, you want to do something fun but still a nice piece of work. Plus, the Nars brand people wanted me to do something to remind people I’m still here,” Nars told WWD.

Both the palettes and the book are sure to be collectors items so if you are interested get them while you can!!  The palettes are available at Nordstrom and retail for $75.   The book “15×15″ is set to launch in mid November for 30 days at 15×15project.com.
