If you are not aware, I have a male teenager in the house. He was okay with using whatever kind of soap etc up until about 8 months ago. Then it was, “Mom, I’m getting bumps on my forehead!” or “Mom, do you have any soap that doesn’t smell like fruit?!!” so I had to take action, he has tried other lines before (remeber when he tried Axe?) but since he has been having issues with some breakouts I was excited for him to try the new Dove Men + Care line as you can use everything ALL OVER. This is something men really love because using separate things is definitely irritating for them (you know they like to just jump in and jump out!)
My son’s experience with the Deep Clean formula went really well, he is actually washing his face (which is a good thing) and that acne is starting to clear up as a result. He liked the Deep Clean formula the best because of the “scrubby things”. There is also a nice loofah/body sponge available in that lovely manly blue gray shade that the bottles come in. Another great featire about this new line is that Dove is the only men’s body wash with the ultra-light MICROMOISTURE technology, a unique gel that activates on skin during lather to guard skin against discomfort. Plus Dove isn’t really soap so there is no chance of an soap scum, dryness or tightness in your skin.
The Rundown:
- Clean Comfort refreshing mild cleansing gel that rinses easliy
- Extra Fresh clean rinsing gel with a touch of menthol
- Deep Clean clean rinsing with grains for exfoliation
- Face Bar available in Extra Fresh & Deep Clean formula
Dove Men + Care is available at major drugstore and supermarket retailers nationwide and drugstore.com
Stay Manly!!
