I think you know by now, I am picky with lip gloss. I’m also not a bandwagon jumper so when something new comes out, it actually takes me a bit to fall in love with it if everyone is saying how great it is. I have to conduct my own field research because as we all know, one person’s beauty trash is another person’s beauty treasure and vice versa. Not everyone likes everything. I happen to like glosses that are somewhat between thick and thin. I like the thickness because of staying power, but I hate that my hair gets stuck in it if the wind blows (see, I told you I’m picky).
So imagine my surprise to find a hybrid of my two favorites right under my nose! Lancôme ‘La Laque Fever’ Lip Shine is not thick BUT it gives the appearance of being so because the colors LASTS yet it feels weightless which I love. It has this teardrop applicator with a little slit in it so the color you get isn’t soaked into the applicator. It is an elixir of vibrant concentrated color and shine in one stroke. From the moment of application, densely pixilated pearls combined with unique polymers give multidimensional shine that truly holds to your lips: no touchups for six hours. No kidding. PLUS 24 shades! Yayy…so many favorites to choose from, mine of course are nude (I looked in my makeup bag the other day and I had like 5 variations of nude lipgloss)….what can I say I’m obsessed.
