As far as eye creams go, my preference tends to lean more towards something in between texture wise. I like things that feel light, yet are hydrating. All of these qualities exist in Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado. This past February, I had the opportunity to speak to one of the chemists behind this marvelous eye treatment. He showed me how when you rub the cream on, it breaks. Meaning it goes on feeling creamy but then the composition changes after about 15 seconds and it begins to feel more watery. I have been using it since February and it has easily become one of my favorite everyday eye creams.
The cream is formulated with good for your skin ingredients like avocado oil, beta carotene and shea butter. Also another big thing for me is that it stays put and doesn’t slip into my eyes. Most eye treatments have that slide factor, irritating your eyes shortly after they have been applied. This one stays put. This is an excellent base for concealer/eye makeup as it is completely non-greasy. It would make an excellent eye cream for anyone that prefers something lighter yet super-moisturizing.
