On The Cheap: Massage Envy…

I love getting massages, they are such a treat.  Definitely something I save for special occasions.  If you could get massages more often wouldn’t you jump at the chance??  I would, and did!  More on that a bit later….  For my birthday, my amazing Mommy bought me a massage at this place up the street called Massage Envy.  I had never been there before, but I know that it has been in  the area for a while now.  If you have never been, it deserves a look.  This is a no nonsense, clean and relaxing environment with a capable, helpful and friendly staff who are all certified and trained.  Very tranquil atmosphere too!!  If you are accustomed to a spa though, this may put you off a bit.  While it is a very nice atmosphere, this is a very basic place, no robes, towels etc.  BUT If all you are interested in a good massage though, this is your spot!!  My thing is, why didn’t I check this out sooner!!  I liked it so much, I bought a membership.

You can buy massages for less than typical spa rates BUT with the membership you get one massage per month that never expires (so it just rolls over to the next month if you don’t use it).  PLUS you can go to any location nationwide (great if you travel).  They have 814 locations in 42 states!

My therapist was great, she asked all the right questions what pressure I like etc.  When she was done I was totally relaxed and I slept like a baby last night!.
