Drugstore Diva: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure…

I was in NYC this last weekend for The Makeup Show and had ZERO time to get a manicure so I popped into the drugstore and as I was looking around at the polishes, I was happy to see some GREAT colors but also some really great formulas.  First off, you need to know this up front…..I am HORRIBLE with manicures.  I am so impatient and infamous for ruining $40 manicures because I can’t be bothered to wait for my nails to dry (I know……horrible! LOL)  So anything that dries quick is golden in my book.  I grabbed a bottle of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in the most beautiful shade called Black Platinum which is a silvery, grey black.  I slicked a bit on my thumbnail and was surprised to have a completely dry nail in about 2 minutes just from that one coat.

The brush is slightly flat (which is awesommmeee) and it is a 5 in 1 formula which includes a base coat, strengthener, grow treatment, color and top coat. 3 days and no chipping AT ALL.  It’s also very easy to apply and comes in a wide range of shades.  And talk about shiny!!  This photo is two coat of JUST the polish, no additional top coat!  I think this polish is PERFECT for a quick and dirty DIY manicure or when you don’t have time for the real thing.
