Beauty News: National Makeover Day on QVC…

QVC has declared this Thursday, May 20 as National Makeover Day – a 24-hour celebration devoted to helping women create positive change inside and out.  Highlights include beauty and hair makeovers from Bobbi Brown and Chaz Dean, along with fashion makeovers from Bradley Bayou and Gretta Monahan. Throughout the day, the experts will share how QVC viewers can achieve similar results at home.

As part of “National Makeover Day,” QVC will give six deserving women from Dress for Success personal life makeovers – including a beauty makeover from Bobbi Brown, financial makeover from Suze Orman, hair makeover from Chaz Dean and a fashion makeover from Bradley Bayou and Gretta Monahan. The transformations will be revealed live, throughout the day, on QVC, with the experts sharing how QVC’s customers can achieve similar results from the comfort of their homes.

“We wanted to create a day devoted to helping women create positive change in their lives. It’s not just about changing your look – it’s about changing your outlook,” said Claire Watts, QVC’s president of U.S. Commerce. “We are thrilled to join forces with our vendor community to raise awareness for Dress for Success. Over the years, the organization has impacted the lives of so many women. We’re honored we can play a part in helping them to continue these important transformations.”

QVC’s National Makeover Day will mark a day of motivation, transformation and celebration, featuring a wonderful assortment of products and sharing the possibilities that each of them can unlock.
