Have you EVER wanted to work in the beauty industry?? How about watching someone else give it a shot? With the influx of lifestyle related reality shows on the rise, MTV has thrown their hast in the ring yet again with “Hired.” The show is bsically a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to prepare for and (hopefully) land your first dream job at a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle company. Sometimes the criticism is harsh and sometimes it’s hilarious, but it’s always constructive. And you’ll be amazed at how unprepared most of these college grads are, especially after spending years in school preparing for their careers.

On June 3rd at 6:30 pm, the episode follows cult-favorite beauty brand TheBalm as they search for a new office assistant. In the callback interviews, the three final applicants are asked to pitch a new product idea to the staff of theBalm. Someone definitely impresses the staff while another leaves them a bit “shocked.” What would you pitch? I think this will be a very interesting show to watch. Of course my pitch would be for one of those yummy lipglosses or maybe a cream bronzer called “The Makeup Girl”
