Drugstore Diva: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock SPF 100 Is FAB!

Hello Summer, my fabulous friends! Stasi here with a review of some much needed suncare!  Making the application of sunblock an important part of your daily beauty regimen is a must for the modern girl (and boy..and baby etc.) on the go! I must say, when I was a child model in the early ’80′s, I WORSHIPED Brooke Shields. After all, she was the ultimate child model! I needed to know ALL of her beauty secrets, and when I found out that her dermatologist put her on Neutrogena soap when she was 9, I had to have some too! That was the beginning of a long and satisfying relationship with beauty products, and Neutrogena.

I lived in Southern California for over 10 years modeling and acting, and I was ALWAYS in my car running to castings and auditions. When I first moved there from New York City, I would emerge from my car with my left arm deeply tan, and my right arm pale (NOT a good look darlings!) before I made slathering on sunblock a religion.  I now reside in Marin in Northern California, where, unlike foggy, cold San Francisco, is a micro climate of a distinctly Mediterranean nature. It is as sunny here as it is in LA! Imagine my delight when I received this amazing SPRAY sunblock to review! Just in time for the Summer by the pool and beach, y’all!

My husband HATES to apply sunblock because of the “slimy” texture of creams, (his words…not mine!) so I end up having to chase him around the house and tackle him to the floor with my knees on his chest to forcibly apply it.  (Sounds like fun, no? Not so much..he’s BIG!) Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist Sunblock SPF 100 is an amazing spray that is waterproof, sweatproof, won’t clog your pours, has one touch continuous spray which works at ANY angle!! It has Helioplex which provides superior broad- spectrum protection against skin aging UVA and burning UVB rays, and it’s SPF  is 100+!! Awesome!

When I first sprayed it on my husband, you would have thought I SHOT him! Then after he calmed down, he realized, then admitted that it is ultra light and is completely NON GREASY or “slimy” as he says LOL!!! Getting him to enjoy and APPLY sunblock on a regular basis is a miracle, so this has been a big hit in our household. It’s so quick to apply, and you can get to those hard to reach areas. You musn’t spray it directly onto your face, however,  but into the hands first and wipe upon your face and neck. Common sense is not so common, so just a word to the wise!  I highly recommend it for the whole family!
