Must Have: Aveda Uruku Bronzer…

Summertime is here! Bronzers are my favorite things to use in the summer especially the kind that offer two shades and one of them is pinkish. The Aveda Uruku Bronzer is a bronzer that combines the power of high performance botanicals and minerals for a smooth and natural-looking, sun-kissed glow with 100% color from the earth. Each duo-shade bronzer is embossed with a diamond symbol representing the Yawanawa anaconda snake. The shades are complimentary to one another but one is more like a blush which gives you that perfect pop of color resulting in a flawlessly natural bronzed look.  The Uruku Bronzing Brush is a luxuriously soft, kabuki-style brush that partners with Aveda Uruku Bronzer for perfect application.

PARTNERS IN BEAUTY: AVEDA AND THE YAWANAWA
Since 1992, Aveda has collaborated with the Yawanawa Nation of Brazil to organically grow urukum, the source of our annatto pigment, which colors our Uruku product lineup and packaging while helping to sustain a healthy rainforest ecosystem.

“The symbols reflect our spirit and that of the rainforest, which is sacred to our people. They also remind us of the importance of caring for the earth.”
- Tashka Yawanawa, chief of the Yawanawa People
