One makeup must have for summer (and an antidote for melt-free makeup during this ridiculous heat) is a primer. My new fave happens to come from Purple Lab in the form of Pearlesque Show ($30)…a silicone-free primer with crushed pearls (for that perfect sheen), honey and kiwi, is inspired by old Hollywood glamour, femme fatale beauty embodied by the confident starlets and pin-ups of yesteryear.
This primer is great with tinted moisturizer, foundation or just on it’s own. You can either mix it into your foundation or layer it on depending on how much coverage you want. I used this when I was in St. Louis ia few weeks back and it was EXTRA hot. I mixed it with my tinted moisturizer and it gave me the perfect amount of glow. Best of all, everything stayed put all day long.
