Smell This: Idole d’Armani Perfume….

Stasi here, and I have something to confess. When I first sprayed this on my wrist, it smelled SO good, that I sprayed it on the palms of my hands, put them right over my nose, and sniffed really hard like the SNL character Mary Katherine Gallagher in “Superstar”! I’m still doing it as I write this article! It’s that amazing and sexy..I want my whole world to smell like this! It is reminiscent of playful Turkish sweets, yet it’s sophisticated and elegant at the same time.

I like a fragrance that is subtle, and gently, not aggressively, noticeable throughout the day. The notes of Sicilian Clementine, Juicy Pear, Ginger And Davana make it smell so delicious, and Egyptian Jasmine And Turkish Rose meld into base notes such as Vetiver And Patchouli. The spicy Saffron notes whisk you away to exotic, far away places in your mind, or with that special someone. You know who I’m talking about!! (wink..)

It, much like Kate Moss, can handle the highest elegance and the most dirty rock and roll moments you can dream up. It’s the kind of scent you make your own, and can transition seamlessly from daytime to a night on the town! I feel layering a scent is such a luxury. I find it an important arsenal in my feminine artillery, that’s why I’m happy to report that I will now be schmearing my body with the body lotion, and washing my body with the shower gel on a regular basis.

I enjoy scents that are not too overtly female.. I like a bit of androgyny in my perfume. Yes, I was the girl that always sprayed a bit of Drakkar Noir or Polo that I nicked off of my college boyfriend’s nightstand, and got compliments from guys and girls all night long! ; ) I think there should be a sophisticated balance, and Giorgio Armani always finds it. I was a big fan of Aqua diGio back in the day, and I sneak little reminiscent whifs now and then at the old perfume counter du jour. Both women and men complimented me on this scent also. Owwwww!!

It is sooo chic and sexy I recommend that you RUN not walk to the beauty emporium of your choice and nab some! One spray and you are instantly on a jet plane to Portofino, where you are sipping an ice cold, dirty Martini on a fabulous yacht!! I promise your boyfriend (or girlfriend, darlings!) will LOVE it!!
