Okay….you all know how crazy I am about my skin right? It’s important for me to take care of it, moisturize it, protect it etc. So you can imagine that I would get pretty freaked out if there was something wrong right?? Well, since the weather has been crazy lately, I have had the heat cranked in my house (just so you know, dry heat + cold weather = BAD for skin). So when I noticed that skin skin was looking like tissue paper (even though it was thoroughly moisturized) I knew it was time for some evasive action. I dug through my arsenal and realized I hadn’t tried my Mario Badescu products yet. I decided to try two products, the Enzyme Cleansing Gel & the Vitamin C Serum.
These two dynamos had my skin feeling 100% within hours of application. The Enzyme cleansing gel is gentle but effective. You get the effect of a mild peel without the dryness (PLUS no filmy residue) and the Vitamin C Serum re-nourished my skin (didn’t even use a moisturizer afterwards).
Enzyme Cleansing Gel [8oz $12, 16 oz $20]
- This non-foaming, gel cleanser thoroughly removes the day’s make-up, dirt and oil without drying the skin. Papaya and Grapefruit Extracts are exfoliating Alpha Hydroxy Acids that help prevent dulling build-up that can cause blackheads and pimples.
Vitamin C Serum [1 oz $45]
- This Vitamin C Serum contains 7.5% Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) to reduce discoloration and brighten skin. Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to retain skin’s natural moisture and Collagen to enhance skin’s firmness and elasticity. Antioxidant Vitamin C protects skin from free radicals and is essential in collagen production.
All in all, EXTREMELY pleased with the results and I have also added a humidifier to the mix so now my dryness is all but a thing of the past. I should also not that I used my Clarisonic Plus Skincare Brush with the cleanser as well.
