New York Fashion Week: Get The Look – Seductive Hair at Farah Angsana F/W 2011 by Eddie Ngai of Rita Hazan Salon…

It’s that time of year again!  I’m i NYC covering backstage beauty at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.  These are the Fall/Winter collections which I always love seeing the most.  No on to business, I love love love a good updo….I think that a sexy updo circa 1959-1962 is always classic and timeless – that’s exactly what Eddie Ngai of the Rita Hazan Salon accomplished at Farah Agsana’s F/W colletion that debuted yesterday.

The designer, Farah was inspired by German-Australian photographer, Helmut Newton’s erotic and sexy glamour shots, which led Eddie to the dramatic high-fashion French twists. This chic look instantly adds elegance and sophistication and encourages woman to be feminine, yet sexy and seductive while strutting their stuff down the runway.

The Rundown:

  • Section your hair – pin the crown section up and out of the way
  • Pull the pieces underneath back into a French twist and secure with bobby pins
  • Tease the top section and part on the side
  • Finally, pin the top section to the hair already in the twist, and spray, spray, spray!

Stay Pretty!!
