It was revealed today that Lancôme has a new gal on the block, she is the latest (and youngest) ambassadress to date. None other than Miss Hermione Granger herself Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame. I have literally watched her grow up as my son has always been a HP fanatic, so we were always at the films on opening night. Her sleek shorter haircut has put her on the beauty map so to speak as she was always known for her long wavy mane. Seeing her with this cut though showcases her fine features so much better.
“Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme”, says Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme International. Miss Watson has also been sharing some news and clues on her twitter account (@EmWatson) so if you are so inclined you can follow here there. I’m sure she may have some cool pics or behind the scenes photos.
Emma follows in the very famous footsteps of other actresses Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz and Kate Winslet who are also Lancome ambassadresses.
The campaign will be shot by legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino and Emma said of her new role: “It’s so exciting, I can’t wait to start shooting. Although I don’t wear much make-up, I’m a big fan of Lancome products, especially their mascara.”
