Beauty News: P!nk is The Latest Spokesperson for CoverGirl…

One of my favorite pop stars P!nk has been named latest spokesperson for CoverGirl!  Love her to death, she has always been a risk taker in fashion and beauty and this is an AMAZING addition to the CoverGirl brand.

COVERGIRL has announced its newest face –  P!nk – who, as the newest COVERGIRL, is going to dare every woman to take more beauty chances and join her in kicking traditional conventions to the curb. With the signing of P!nk, COVERGIRL is celebrating beauty with an edge, and who better to deliver that message than someone who embodies art and attitude.

Pink CoverGirl crop Beauty News: P!nk is The Latest Spokesperson for CoverGirl...

P!nk, and COVERGIRL, are looking to inspire women to celebrate their individuality and never settle for a single beauty standard. Stay tuned for what’s in store from COVERGIRL and P!nk, who will debut many more surprising new beauty looks on her lashes, lips and everything in between.

P!nk just finished her latest album and she says,  “I have a lot to celebrate. I called my new album The Truth About Love, and the truth is that I have my beautiful family and baby girl, my new music, and now my partnership with COVERGIRL to love,” said P!nk. “Joining a group of women who have always inspired me –to laugh out loud, let my guard down, or play around with my beauty look – is such an honor.”

“P!nk is a powerful and provocative role model, who has always been an advocate of individualism and making no apologies for who you are,” said Esi Eggleston Bracey, VP and General Manager, COVERGIRL Cosmetics. “That combination of irreverence and integrity is exactly what the COVERGIRL brand loves about her and identifies with.  We have admired P!nk’s art and her attitude for years!  We love the energy and confidence that she radiates, and the fact that inside and out she’s as cool as she looks. She’s an awesome addition to our COVERGIRL family.”

She is a great rolemodel for young girls and her individuality will go far with line.  P!nk joins Queen Latifah, Paula Patton, Taylor Swift, Sofia Vergara and Ellen DeGeneres – a fantastic lineup of diverse ambassadors to the mix.

I 100% agree! One of my favorite P!nk songs is below….. U and Ur Hand….makeup done my the UBER fabulous Billy B.  Enjoy!

Is CoverGirl cruelty-free or not? I heard they are not a cruelty-free company yet animal activists like Pink & Ellen endorse them, so maybe they know something we (the public) don’t? Is CoverGirl working towards becoming a cruelty-free company? Or are these animal activists unaware CG isn’t a cruelty-free company? I’m not being sarcastic, I really AM confused. . . .

I am not sure about CoverGirl – if you want to know for sure I would look on the Proctor and Gamble webpage in the press section. If they have a statement on animal testing it would be there ;-)

Covergirl is not cruelty-free. It is owned by P&G.
