You may remember my article on BB Creams a while back, since then a leader has emerged in the market in regards to texture, effectiveness and shade range. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream [$39] has added some shades on the light and dark end of the spectrum. The consistency is fantastic as it really gives you a smooth even surface (a little goes a long way). Only a small amount is needed, so you can use it as a primer under your favorite foundation, or alone as a lightweight foundation. It has an oil-controlling formulation with emollients and optical pearl pigments to provide hydration AND features a much needed SPF 35.
Smashbox says…
Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream SPF 35 is a 5-in-1 complexion miracle-worker to moisturize, prime, perfect, protect and control oil in a single step. Revolutionary tinted formula instantly evens out complexion to create smooth, radiant skin without settling into fine lines and pores. Keeps skin shine free while maintaining moisture, improving skin hydration by as much as 22% with continued use, and also significantly reduces the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles after only 4 weeks of use. Wear BB Cream alone or under your favorite foundation or powder for more coverage.
The Rundown:
- Fair
- Light
- Light/Medium
- Medium (for reference, my shade is medium)
- Dark
Fair skinned girls, FINALLY an option for YOU! Just so you know, the dark STILL isn’t quite all that dark but – I think it’s a step in the right direction (we’re getting there!!) You can grab yours at Sephora or Ulta or online Sephora.com or Ulta.com
Stay Pretty!!
