Holiday Beauty Looks with Kohl’s Beauty [VIDEO]

Mid November is here, I just saw holiday decorations in all the stores so it seems appropriate to start a conversation about holiday beauty looks! Every year trends pop up in the beauty world…whether its a smokey eye or a deep red lip they are usually cyclical.  This season I think there is most definitely a return to the lip.  More focus is being placed on different textures of lipstick.  Gone are the days of the drying matter lip – these days a more long wearing and comfortable semi-matte is all the rage.  Smokey eyes will never go out of style either…you just have to know how to do one properly so you don’t end up like the lady in the GoGurt commercial (sidebar, heavy smokey eyes are never for daytime and you should always use a shadow that is neutral and flattering like a bronzey brown or grey.)

LORAC at Kohls

I have a really GREAT video from the Kohl’s youtube channel this one shows you how to get the smokey eye look at home with LORAC

Next up is a really nice one showing you makeup for your little black dress – definitely appropriate for holiday.

You will find dedicated beauty advisors waiting to help you (awesome), and a great selection of products from national brands ate GREAT prices to help you achieve the look you are going for.  Don’t be intimated by the brightly lit displays – it’s set up that way so you can SEE everything.  Get in there and look around, play with the testers! You can even get your makeup done in 250 stores nationwide.

Make sure you check out the Kohl’s beauty aisle and find a beauty advisor to get you the look that is right for you right in your own neighborhood!  I am proud to be working with both SheKnows Experts Among Us and Kohl’s Beauty on a series of posts highlighting Kohl’s Beauty right up through the new year!

This post is sponsored by Kohls – all opinions are my own.
