My all time FAVORITE Clinique lip gloss shade Black Honey has been made into a collection!! Be still my heart!! I have been wearing this iconic shade since I was 15 (It was one of my first makeup purchases EVER from a department store! Back then, it came in a pot and I used my finger…now there is Superbalm (which I LOVE and carry with me everywhere). The shade has developed into a wearable and flattering collection that looks fantastic on a variety of skin tones.

Black Honey, a colour collection inspired by a cult classic. What began in 1971 as simply a new Clinique lip gloss shade, the Black Honey colour instantly became a success. In 1989 when Black Honey – originally packaged in a pot – was later launched as an Almost Lipstick, no one realised the incredible impact it would have. During the decades that followed, Black Honey has changed formulas but the iconic berry shade remains. Have you ever had trouble putting mascara on those pesky bottom lashes? I haven’t but over the years I have developed a very steady hand….I never met I mascara wand I didn’t like or couldn’t handle. However, when Clinique sent me their new Bottom Lash mascara to test, I was intrigued. The brush is TEENY, heck the mascara itself is teeny. But I’ll tel you what, every single one of my lashes was coated in a layer of smudge free mascara with no touch up’s required. Let me explain, even with the largest of wands, I usually have to go back with a Q-Tip and clean up….not this time.

The micro-mini brush is exclusive to Clinique and is the smallest on the market. It is SUPER easy to maneuver all the way around the corners and all the nooks and crannies where teeny lashes hide. The teeny tube is said to have a 90 day supply (which if true, is a bargain)

The Rundown:

The thermal active formula wears true for up to 24 hrs without smudging or smearing. It’s flake resistant and is waterproof in cold water.
The acrylates copolymer dries after application and immediately provides a film layer that protects the formula from cold water sweat and humidity
The stretchable clay-like ingredient, bentonite smoothly coats bottom lashes for definition while jojoba oil conditions the lashes
To remove, simply soak a cotton pas with warm water an gently press on the lashes to loosen the mascara, then wash your face as usual

TMG Fave: Clinique ‘Repairwear Laser Focus’ Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector..

I have made no secret that I am LOVING these new products that are coming out of the Clinique Labs lately. The Even Better Dark Spot Corrector is now a staple in my household for me and my teenager (we are on bottle # 3 already). This latest serum, Clinique ‘Repairwear Laser Focus’ Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector ($44.50) has also been working its way into my skincare repertoire.

In clinical studies, this lightweight serum was proven to have a noticeable effective on lines, wrinkles, and skin texture in four weeks and after 12 weeks, the amount of wrinkle-reduction was considered to be close to a dermatological laser procedure 63%, to be exact.. It is also incredibly hydrating (I didn’t feel like I needed any additional moisturizer after-wards) I have also noted my neck firming up and the moisture levels in my skin have increased.

I also like that they are thinking outside the box with their ingredients. Hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate are included, to provide hydration and elasticity.They are also using more plant based items like arabidopsis thaliana, which is a potent antioxidant and sea whip extract, which is known for it’s anti-inflammatory properties. All in all, a fantastic effort from Clinique and a serum that I really like.

This item started as a Sephora exclusive and quickly picked up speed as one of the hottest must have items of the season. TMG Faves: Clinique Superfit Makeup Oil Free Long Wear…

Hey all, Stasi here. I am so excited to tell you about this makeup! Clinique Superfit is a super silky feeling oil free long wear makeup, and it is really a find! During my pregnancy, I got what is called a pregnancy “mask”, which is basically spotty hyperpygmentation in the shape of an actual mask. It sucks, but until I come up with $500 to get a fancy treatment, I have to rely on makeup to even up my skin tone. Ladies with fair skin and freckles will understand what I mean! ; )

This makeup goes on smoothly and feels like silk (I know I said that already, but it’s true!!) . It gives even coverage without the pancakey look that some full coverage makeup bases seem to have. My face still looked fresh and the makeup felt extremely light on my face! I have a very active toddler, and I want to put makeup on once in the morning and be done with it. This makeup truly does last all day….and my days are LONG! Because of my freckles and “the mask”, I want a foundation that can give me all day coverage even if I sweat, and I found that in the Superduper Superfit!

I have terrible allergies, and I never know what will break me out. My mother is the same, and I always remember Clinique products were her favorite. They enjoyed a prominent position on her makeup table! I always played with it and loved going to the Clinique counter with her. I realized later that it was hypoallergenic, and was not tested on animals, that made me love them even more!

It’s not too dewey and not too matte, and it covered all of my pores and blotches. Most foundations leave my skin a bit dry, but the Superfit really stays moist all day. I like using a foundation brush to apply it, and mix in either a bit of water or lotion, and paint my face like a water color.
